Microchipping

Microchipping is a legal requirement for all dogs over the age of eight weeks. We also provide microchipping for cats and other small animals.

We can advise on and provide the best products and routines to keep your pet healthy, happy and free from pests.

Dental care

Dental care is an important element of pet health, and we have experienced vets and nurses, as well as top facilities including dental x-ray equipment.

Consultations and house calls

We believe that regular health check-ups are important for the long-term health and welfare of all pets, and can facilitate house visits where required.

In-house diagnostics

In-house diagnostic facilities to help us to speedily diagnose potential issues in our patients, including x-ray and ultrasound equipment.

Prescriptions

We help you to ensure your pet receives the medication it needs. Bear in mind that pets on long-term medication must be seen by a vet at a minimum of every six months.

Surgery

We have modern facilities and many years of experience performing soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries on small animals.

Pet travel

Pets will now require an Animal Health Certificate for each journey they need to take to Europe or Northern Ireland.

Small Mammals

We are happy to see and treat a range of small mammals at Abercorn including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, degus, ferrets and mice.
